We are here!!! It is our 3rd day in Brussels and this is the view from our window in our apartment. 
This is our little apartment. We live on the very top floor so it sort of looks like a loft. We have to walk up about 8 flights of narrow stairs to get there. We live in a pretty nice little neighborhood really close by to a grocery store "Lidls" and a lot of other shops I don't know how to say or even spell.
We bought some new pillows and a duvet set at IKEA yesterday.

Due to lack of a closet, we decided to use the wood planks to hang up our things. We thought it was a nice decorating tool. (It was Brett's idea).
Don't ask me what is on the wall above the couch.
It has been pretty intimidating not knowing French. I'm trying to learn and study our little phrase book we bought. I've never really been somewhere I could not communicate so it is an adventure! Today was Brett's first day of work at the Embassy. It's about a 30 min. walk to get there.
